In the Fidel and Palestine Seminar for the Day of National Rebellion of the Caribbean nation, the solidarity group ratified with the two resolutions its rejection of the United States blockade against Cuba and the atrocities that Israel commits against Palestine.
Before the Cuban ambassadors, Alejandro Simancas, and the Palestinian Adnan Abul Abhaija, the Committee demanded the removal of the island from the list of State sponsors of terrorism and the end of the economic, commercial and financial war of the United States.
The resolutions received unanimous approval in a packed venue and in the presence, in addition, of the General Secretaries of the Communist Party of India, the Communist Party of India (Marxist), the Communist Party of India Marxist Leninist (Liberation) and the of Forward Block.
The act became a song of solidarity in retribution for the example of Cuba as the vanguard of internationalism in noble causes such as Palestine, that of the peoples of Latin America and Africa, and of movements that fight for their rights and for a more just society.
He also represented the feelings of the Indian people about the injustices to which the Cuban and Palestinian peoples are subjected.
In addition, it reflected the admiration for the dignity and resilience of the Cuban people in the face of the economic war, and the confrontation of the Palestinian people to the attack and stripping of their rights by the Zionist troops.
In the same way, the general secretaries of the communist and leftist parties highlighted the historical significance of the events of July 26, 1953 and the role of the figures of Fidel Castro and Che Guevara among the indisputable leaders of that stage that culminated in the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.
