On the occasion of the anniversary of Cuba´s National Rebellion Day, which marked the beginning of the last stage of national liberation against Fulgencio Batista´s dictatorship, the solidarity group extended its fraternal friendship, solidarity and support to the Cuban people in their daily battle to consolidate the foundations of the socialist project.

We also support the political transformations, achievements and rights attained by the Cuban Revolution ahead of the most merciless genocidal blockade ever unilaterally and arbitrarily imposed on a nation by colonialism and contemporary imperialism.

It is an opportunity to reaffirm the reiterated call for an end to the criminal blockade against the free people of Cuba.

We also deplore the cowardly US abuse by placing Cuba on an offensive list of states sponsoring terrorism (SST), a despicable act by the scoundrels who rule the United States, the most terrorist state in history.
