The Ministry of Innovation and Technology said that, on the sidelines of the second Russia-Africa Summit and the Russia-Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum scheduled to be held on July 27-28 in St. Petersburg, other agreements will be related to collaboration in electric energy.
Ethiopian sector head Belete Molla, also co-chairman of the Ethiopian-Russian Joint Intergovernmental Commission, and Russian Mining Minister Yevgeny Petrov met the day before in Moscow, so as to review the status of future agreements.
Side events on the ties between the two countries are expected to be held. Molla is part of the Ethiopian delegation that will participate in the summit, with no other members specified so far.
From October 22-24, 2019, the first edition of that event took place in Sochi under the theme “For Peace, Security and Development”.
