The foreign ministers of the three nations will discuss the de-escalation of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, and the implementation of the trilateral agreements reached by the leaders of the three countries in November 2020, January and November 2021, and October 2022.

The meeting “will devote special attention to the development of the peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan, and will seek solution to other outstanding problems,” the source added.

In addition, the ministers will discuss the unblocking of transport routes in the region, the delimitation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border and the launch of parliamentary dialogue.

According to the official communiqué from the Foreign Ministry, the heads of diplomacy will also discuss Russian-Azerbaijani and Russian-Armenian relations in the political, economic, trade and humanitarian spheres.

Armenia and Azerbaijan have been in dispute over Nagorno-Karabakh since the territory, with a majority Armenian population, decided to secede in 1988 from the then Soviet Socialist Republic of Azerbaijan.
