Putin, Lukashenko to meet in Moscow

Moscow, Jul 22 (Prensa Latina) Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart, Alexander Lukashenko, who will pay a working visit to Moscow, will meet on July 23, the Kremlin informed.

According to a press release from the Russian Presidency, the two heads of State “will continue to analyze the development of Russia-Belarus relations of strategic partnership and alliance, as well as integration cooperation within the framework of the State of the Union.”

Minsk also confirmed the meeting. The press service of the Belarusian president said that the agenda will include “a wide range of the most important and fundamental issues of bilateral relations.”

Security, the international agenda, economic interaction, implementation of the Union’s programs, joint opposition to pressure from illegal sanctions are some of the topics that Putin and Lukashenko will address,” according to the Belarusian resident’s office.
