Students from the Schools of Languages, Technical Sciences, Economic Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Social Sciences and Humanities, UM´s short-cycle higher education programs on Friday received their university degrees.
According to UM’s Communicator Miladys Moreno, the event hall at the Louvre Hotel in Matanzas capital was the venue chosen to further award students with outstanding work in different areas.
The most comprehensive student of the Turquino Plan was Iraida Suarez, BA in Primary Education, while in the social interaction area distinction went to Idoa Gonzalez, BA in English and German as second language, Moreno stated. UM’s communicator added that Cenia Ramirez, from the Chemical Engineering, was selected as best graduate, in addition to standing out for her professional field with a commendable work at the Indio Hatuey Pasture and Forage Station, a worthwhile domestic science facility.
