It was followed by a 3.1 magnitude tremor and a 3.4 magnitude tremor, which increased the fear and uncertainty of the inhabitants of the capital city of Rajasthan, the specialized entity pointed out.
Despite the considerable intensity of the earthquake, no casualties or damage were reported, according to the source.
Authorities and disaster response teams are monitoring the situation and remain on alert for any potential damage.
