According to the military, the exercises lasted 10 days, were carried out with live ammunition and simulated combats in real conditions in the desert and mountainous areas.
The Ministry released images showing the use of fighter-bombers, assault helicopters, rocket launchers, tanks, artillery, mortars and other means.
Participants simulated an offensive to liberate occupied territories under heavy and massive fire on command headquarters, reserve points and weapons and ammunition depots, and then the special troops advanced in an airborne operation.
Lt. Gen. Abdul Karim Ibrahim, Chief of the General Staff, met with the troops and reaffirmed the determination to further improve the capabilities of the Armed Forces and to continue the battle until every single inch of Syrian territory is liberated from terrorism and foreign occupation.
