In the context of the First Ordinary Sessions of the National Assembly of People’s Power (ANPP), Bruno Rodríguez told the press that one of the essential issues was Cuba’s G-77 + China pro tempore presidency.
It was also discussed issues closely related to the hostile and unjust blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba for over 60 years, in addition to the media slanders.
During the Commission’s work, core elements of Cuba’s foreign policy were also debated, by laying stress on relations with Cuban nationals living abroad.
In this regard, the Cuban diplomat referred to the celebration next November of the 4th Conference of the Nation and Emigration, which is a recognition of the historical progress and measures adopted to facilitate those links.
