According to the closing report on July 20 at midnight, eight patients were discharged, so the number of recovered people rose to 1,106,415.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020, 1,115,030 Cubans have been infected with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
MINSAP stated that no deaths were reported, so the total death toll remains at 8,530.
The report noted that 90.8 percent of the Cuban population is fully vaccinated, while 8,764,959 people have been administered booster doses of Cuba’s homegrown vaccines.
