Russian army launches attacks in the direction of Krasny Liman

Moscow, Jul 19 (Prensa Latina) The Russian Armed forces increased pressure on the Ukrainian positions in the direction of Krasny Liman, in Donetsk, as reported by the head of the Lugansk people's militias, Andrei Marochko, on Telegram.

The leader of the militias also reported that Russian troops intensified their attacks in the last 24 hours with the assistance of aviation and artillery against Ukrainian positions near Serebrianka, Belogorovka and Torskoye.

Marochko added that the Russian forces have employed TOS-1A Solntsepiok heavy flamethrower systems and engaged the enemy from close range using armored vehicles.

The Center grouping repelled two attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the direction of Krasny Liman on Tuesday, causing up to 100 losses in personnel and the destruction of eight vehicles, including Polish-made and -supplied Krab self-propelled howitzers.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia also reported that the Ukrainian army continued its attempts to advance in the directions of Donetsk, Krasny Liman and the southern limits of Donetsk with Zaporozhye.
