Priority areas are discussed with a view to global cooperation towards the development of clean and sustainable energy, according to a government source.
Topics such as addressing technological gaps, low-cost financing, energy security, and diversified supply chains will be discussed by representatives of the bloc’s nations, international organizations, and experts.
The meeting will also promote analysis of energy efficiency, low-carbon industrial transitions and responsible consumption, fuels for the future and universal access to clean energy through fair, affordable and inclusive channels.
The event will build on deliberations from previous meetings in Bangalore, Gandhinagar, and Mumbai in order to identify and promote best practices, policies and innovative approaches.
As a result of the analysis, the draft statement will be drawn up to be delivered to the ministers of the sector for its consolidation and subsequent approval.
