Cooperation between the two countries has been strong in different sectors such as education, agriculture, industry and medicine, the latter still in force here, with the presence of a small medical brigade that provides services at St. Paul’s Hospital in this capital.
In order to spread relations, according to information provided by the Cuban embassy in this capital city, to Prensa Latina, agreements related to sports, science and technology, and agriculture, among others, are still in the process of being signed.
Recent years have seen governmental exchanges between both nations, with the visit last year of Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla to Ethiopia.
The agreement of positions in bilateral and multilateral forums is getting reinforced as time goes by, such as Addis Ababa’s historical support to Havana, against the US blockade in the United Nations, the African Union, among other forums.
