Valdes underscored the high-level political dialogue between the two countries, which were strengthened when Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel visited Belarus in October 2019.
The meeting was an opportunity to thank Belarus, once again, for its historic stance in support of the Cuban Revolution’s fight against the United States blockade at the United Nations.
We must promote cooperation so that our economies become more solid and can face the challenges.
The visitor noted that many projects are making progress in the industrial sphere, including an agreement between the Belarusian tractor company MTZ and Cuban authorities to assemble this kind of equipment in Cuba.
Aleinik took the opportunity to convey President Alexander Lukashenko’s greetings to President Miguel Díaz-Canel.
