During a meeting at Cuba´s Foreign Ministry (MINREX) with the acting Foreign Minister Josefina Vidal, Mr. Aleinik also expressed his gratitude for Cuba´s support in different international platforms.
Mr. Aleinik, who had previously met with the Chairman of the National Assembly of People’s Power (ANPP) Esteban Lazo, climed Cuba has a special place in his country and has also been an example of resistance in the defense of its values and rights.
At present, Cuba and Belarus are not the only ones facing a set of sanctions by the West, as the list is now extended to include dozens other States, the Belarusian minister said.
Josefina Vidal, on the other hand, thanked Belarus´ support in Cuba´s struggle against the genocidal US blockde, she said.
Mr. Aleinik will meet tomorrow with Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdes Mesa and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, as well as pay a visit to Fidel Castro Cultural Center.
