In our case, we have this project underway with EU funding and co-financed by the Barcelona City Council, and dedicated to transfer and exchange knowledge and good practices, which allow for the implementation of a pilot model of a smart city, she said.
This concept consists of promoting urban spaces in which people are at the center of their development, based on the use of information and communication technologies.
The action underway in the Historic Center of Havana focus on promoting cultural and creative industries, said the official of the OHCH, a public institution in charge of preserving that part of Havana, which was declared a World Heritage Site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 1982.
