For about two weeks, the brigade members will tour six Cuban provinces, where they will have an agenda consisting of productive activities and visits to sites of historic, economic, social, scientific, and cultural interest.
They will also attend the festivities on the 70th anniversary of the attack on the Moncada Barracks in Santiago de Cuba and the Carlos Manuel de Cespedes Barracks in Bayamo.
It is an example of support for what Cuba and its revolution have meant in terms of solidarity with Latin America, Ecuador, and the world, Osvaldo Ovando, one of members of the Ecuadorian brigade, told Prensa Latina.
The activist added that they also bring a donation of medical supplies, including anti-inflammatory drugs, painkillers, antibiotics, anti-allergies, and antispasmodics.
We have done our bit, but we know it will help amid the difficulties caused by the blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba, Ovando said.
