The two diplomats met in the framework of the 3rd Summit of Heads of State and Government from the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States and the European Union, which will be held in Brussels on Monday and Tuesday.
During the meeting, Gil and Rodríguez also reviewed the state of relations of brotherhood and solidarity that unite the two peoples.
They also referred to their government’s willingness to work to consolidate a fairer world, in which the right to the peoples’ sovereignty and self-determination are fundamental principles, the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry reported. jg/jha/jcd
