Representatives of State members, Regional Economic Communities, Regional Mechanisms, and international organizations associated with the political organization attended the meeting, which endson Friday in Nairobi, Kenya.
The two high-level meetings will also address Africa’s candidature within the International System and the implementation of Agenda 2063, among other issues.
During the first day, Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Alfred Mutua, said that Africa is rich in diverse natural resources despite its underdevelopment.
Restricting the free movement of people and goods on the continent should be removed to accelerate integration.
