On Twitter, Diaz-Canel stated that this visit had been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and would be an excellent opportunity to expand historic relations.

The president’s visit to Lisbon continues to strengthen relations between Cuba and Portugal on their 104th anniversary.
