Cuban journalists denounce European Parliament’s interference

congresos-de-la-upec-1020x642-1
Havana, Jul 13 (Prensa Latina) The resolution adopted recently by the European Parliament with the marked objective of hindering Cuba's presence at the Celac-EU Summit was denounced by the Union of Cuban Journalists (UPEC) on Thursday.

Extreme right sectors within the European Parliament approved an anti-Cuba resolution without any morality. The document is a dirty and rusty copy of others that have appeared every time the European countries and Cuba have expressed their support for dialogue and the policy of non-interference,” a statement stressed.

This type of interference is denounced by the UPEC, as part of Cuban civil society, and defends the existence of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) as part of the much-needed integration process in the region.

The extreme right political groups that are trying to turn the Summit into a circus, with room for sickly clowns, unable to act in favor of dialogue, collaboration and solidarity among the inhabitants of two regions closely linked by culture, language and history,” the text condemned.
