On Wednesday, a special session was held in Senate in order to debate on appointments of 75 judges, prosecutors and public defenders, as well as a dozen bills linked to health and education issues. But it was suspended given the lack of quorum because of the decision by Juntos por el Cambio (JxC) members.
“We need them to sit on the benches. Once again, the opposition was absent from the debate to pass important rules. It has been paralyzing Congress since the beginning of the year,” the spokeswoman asserted.
We ask them again that, with a democratic and republican character, they go to the place where they have to be, work and vote in favor or against the laws citizens need, she added.
