An estimated 23,600 people, including 7,150 children, live in that city, as stressed in a press release by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
At least 40 families, comprising 173 people, are still internally displaced, it warned.
The UN body noted that the military operation caused significant damage to water and sanitation networks and destroyed at least eight kilometers of pipes.
