The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates warned in a statement that this policy reflects its inability to protect the Palestinian people and provide them with justice under international laws.
The Foreign Ministry recalled that several UN Security Council resolutions call for ending the occupation and supporting the Palestinian people to achieve their just and legitimate rights.
It denounced that the Israeli offensive in East Jerusalem aims to expel the Palestinians living there to replace them with Israeli settlers “according to its colonial interests.”
Palestinian media revealed that more than 200,000 Israeli settlers live in occupied East Jerusalem since the 1967 war.
