The MoUs were signed in this capital by the Kenyan President William Ruto and his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi who began a three-day tour of an equal number of countries and whose next stops will be Uganda and Zimbabwe. The visit should have begun on Tuesday, but was delayed for several hours in order to outline the MoUs essential for the success of Raisi´s African tour.
At the signing ceremony, the Kenyan president revealed he has the commitment of his guest to favor of more meat, agricultural product and tea exports to Iran.
In this regard, Tehran will ease the Kenyan product exports to Central Asian markets: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, and nearly 75 million potential consumers.
