A report by the entity on the occasion of World Population Day specified that the figure represents an increase of 200,000 people, compared to the study released last year.
It highlighted that 3.25 million Palestinians are settled in the West Bank and 2.23 million in the coastal enclave. the information noted that 1.7 million Palestinians live in Israel, 6.5 million in Arab countries and the rest in other nations.
The percentage of people aged 14 and under, in Palestine, constitutes 37% of the total, while those over 65 account for 4.0%, the PCBS detailed.
According to the document, 12% of Palestinian households are headed by women.
