Traditional and artistic ceramics on the route of Cuban history

Havana, Jul 8 (Prensa Latina) The project Rutas y Andares, of the Office of the Historian of the City of Havana, is offering "Rutas por los museos" (Routes through museums) in its cultural program for the month, today with a tour of traditional and artistic ceramics.

The proposal is directed to the ethnographic collections and the National Museum of Ceramics, both united in this route chosen for the production of tableware, from their respective and plural cultural and historical contexts.

The National Museum of Ceramics will close each tour, where the variety of techniques and typologies applied in the panorama of Cuban porcelain will be visible.

The route called ” De la cerámica tradicional a la artística” (From traditional to artistic ceramics) is one of the most awaited tours for the family, which will enjoy a different summer, from museum to museum, walks through public and virtual spaces, as well as thematic itineraries and workshops.

Routes and Walks will be extended until August 25 for everyone at home.
