The proposal, which began yesterday, includes the Cuban premieres of “Bartók Concerto” and “Britten pas de deux” by British choreographer Ben Stevenson O.B.E., who will also present the piece “End of time”.
Carmen by Alberto Alonso and “Tarde en la siesta” by Alberto Méndez, will be reprised in this follow-up of the celebrations for the 75th anniversary of the BNC. The second is a work that celebrates the 50th anniversary of its world premiere. The audience will also be able to enjoy “Espartaco” (Dúo de amor), by Azari Plisetsky, with performances by leading figures, soloists and the Cuban company’s corps de ballet. The performances will continue next weekend.
