TSE judge Guillermo Wellman addressed this and other issues facing next year’s elections, which expect a voter turnout higher than the 52 percent the country reached in 2021.
Wellman stated that the TSE is working to guarantee transparent elections, something that the work done by international observers should confirm.
Given reports from opposition sectors that fraud is being prepared, Wellman stated that the TSE would demand total control of electronic voting so as to eliminate any doubts that may arise among the population.
