India urges to prioritize unimpeded delivery of aid to Palestine

New Delhi, Jul 6 (Prensa Latina) India advocated Thursday for prioritizing the unimpeded delivery of aid to the Palestinians in severe economic and humanitarian difficulties and the resumption of Palestine-Israel talks.

In a statement delivered to the Ministerial Committee of the Non-Aligned Movement, which avoids judging the recent Zionist attacks on the occupied territories, the representative from New Delhi ratified the country’s willingness to support efforts to resume direct negotiations.

In the text, on which they admitted to having reservations on some points, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs for the region, emphasized the need for a negotiated solution leading to the establishment of a sovereign, independent, and viable State of Palestine, taking into account Israel’s concerns.

The Indian representative urged the two sides to cease violence and avoid unilateral actions undermining the viability of solving and increasing the trust deficit between the nations.

The document noted that India is a committed development partner of Palestine, supports its nation-building efforts, and provides technical and development assistance to improve the lives of the Palestinian people.
