In the text, on which they admitted to having reservations on some points, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs for the region, emphasized the need for a negotiated solution leading to the establishment of a sovereign, independent, and viable State of Palestine, taking into account Israel’s concerns.
The Indian representative urged the two sides to cease violence and avoid unilateral actions undermining the viability of solving and increasing the trust deficit between the nations.
The document noted that India is a committed development partner of Palestine, supports its nation-building efforts, and provides technical and development assistance to improve the lives of the Palestinian people.
