The meeting will focus on sharing the initiatives, the responsibilities of the agencies devoted to the sector and the alliance in projects targeted at promoting the sphere of the space economy, the Organizing Committee told the press.
During the first day there will be round tables of heads of space agencies, discussion panels, bilateral meetings and a plenary session.
The president of the International Astronautical Federation, Clayton Mowry, the director of the Office of Radio Communications, Mario Manicewicz, and the director of the Space Forum of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, Claire Jolly, are expected to intervene.
There will also be an exhibition on India’s space activities and the capabilities of the national industry, as well as representative programs of Indian culture and tradition.
Delegates will visit Hindustan Aeronautics Limited to witness work on tanks and alloy structures under construction for spacecraft and satellite launch vehicles, as well as private industries contributing to the Indian space program.
Spatial economics is a discipline related to geography, economics, sociology, and urban planning, which focuses on the interaction between space and the economic aspects of life.
