The agenda has included several meetings with authorities of friendly countries such as Iraq’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein, with whom he discussed the ties that unite both peoples, such as economic, energy, cultural and friendly issues, in general.
Gil also spoke with Belarusian FM Sergei Aleinik to continue strengthening relations between the two countries within the framework of the new multipolar world, being forged by the NAM.
Venezuelan diplomat further held talks with his Syrian counterpart, Faisal Mekdad, to whom he ratified the friendship between the peoples, as well as the opening of new cooperating channels.
The minister also met with FMs from Nepal and Kuwait Narayan Prakash Saud and Sheikh Salem Abdullah Jaber Al-Sabah, respectively.
With the latter, Gil discussed the future of cooperation between the two States in the context of the recovery of the Venezuelan oil and gas industry.
