Venezuela and the United States have been linked by struggles and aspirations for a life with guarantees of happiness and dignity, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed in a statement.
The release stated that the Venezuelan people will always express solidarity with the US people in fighting for social justice, overcoming poverty and discrimination, and for “relations of respect with the rest of the world that leave any imperialist pretensions behind.
The Bolivarian Government stated that, with political will, the United States could resume the path of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and diplomacy that Venezuela has always been willing to follow.
The text stressed that until then, this nation would continue to raise its voice in the face of injustice and aggression, demanding the end of unilateral coercive measures and the return of assets and property belonging to the Venezuelan people that are currently under the control of the United States.

Venezuela felicitó a pueblo de EEUU por su Día de Independencia
Caracas, 4 jul (Prensa Latina) El pueblo y el Gobierno de Venezuela felicitaron al pueblo de Estados Unidos en ocasión de cumplirse hoy un año más de la Declaración de su Independencia.
Desde sus orígenes, ambos pueblos han estado vinculados por luchas compartidas y por las aspiraciones comunes a una vida con garantías de felicidad y dignidad, expresó en un comunicado el Ministerio para las Relaciones Exteriores.
La nota indicó que el pueblo venezolano siempre expresará su solidaridad al estadounidense en su lucha por la justicia social, por la superación de la pobreza y la discriminación, y por “relaciones de respeto con el resto del mundo que dejen atrás cualquier pretensión imperialista”.
El Gobierno bolivariano manifestó que, con voluntad política, Estados Unidos podría retomar la ruta del respeto mutuo, de la convivencia pacífica y de la diplomacia que Venezuela siempre ha estado dispuesta a transitar.
Subrayó que hasta entonces, la nación sudamericana continuará elevando su voz frente a la injusticia y a la agresión, exigiendo el fin de las medidas coercitivas unilaterales, la devolución de activos y propiedades pertenecientes al pueblo venezolano y que hoy se encuentran bajo control estadounidense.
