“Today, at 01:07 hours, local time, the Ukrainian Government switched off line 750 of the Dnieper,” Karchaa denounced on the Russia 24 TV channel.
On Monday, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that the plant was reconnected to one of six free 330-kilovolt transmission lines four months later.
The head of the Russian company explained, “The line is operational, but it will be used as a spare, the connection of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant to a backup 330 kilovolt power line significantly increases the level of nuclear safety at the plant.”
