Cocal aims to educate and professionalize the industry in order to create a network of professionals that fosters networking, transformation, inclusion and professional development, according to the official program of the event.
Important specialists, such as Enid Cámara Vasconcelos, José Quan, Stuar Ruff-Lyon and Martin Boyle, all leading figures in the world of event organizers, are expected to give speeches at the meeting.
The Congress will include visits to exhibitors, exchanges with rum masters and gastronomic presentations, as well as the positioning of Cuba as a destination prepared for the celebration of events throughout the region, with well-equipped facilities and highly qualified personnel. With representatives from countries such as the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Panama, Argentina, Colombia, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Honduras, the United States, Colombia and Spain, this is the third time that Cuba will host a Cocal congress, an organization to which it has belonged since 1980 and of which it has held the presidency on two opportunities.
