The Transportation and Security Administration predicted that 4.7 million people would travel between Saturday and Sunday, to reach their pre-4th of July destination.
The U.S. transportation agency generally estimated an amount of 17.7 million passengers between June 29 and July 5; however, July 1 started with 2,500 canceled flights and more than 2,000 delayed flights.
On the other hand, the police of Baltimore, Maryland, published the identities of the two victims of the shooting that took place in the early hours of July 2 at a neighborhood, aged 18 and 20 years old.
The tragedy also left 28 people wounded, three of them reported in critical conditions, a new celebration turned into a tragic event.
