According to the closing report of July 2 at midnight, eight patients were discharged and the number of recovered people rose to 1,106,233.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020, 1,114,879 Cubans have been infected with the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus.
The report stated that no deaths were reported as a result of the disease, so the total death toll remains at 8,530. Currently, the number of Covid-19 patients in Cuba is 57.
A total of 90.8 percent of the Cuban population has been fully vaccinated, while 8,760,115 people have received booster doses of Cuba’s homegrown vaccines.
