We are making progress in several areas that strengthen integration between our peoples, such as security with food sovereignty, health care, education, tourism and others,” he wrote in a tweet, to which he attached a photo next to his Cuban counterpart, Miguel Díaz-Canel.

“We thank brother President Diaz-Canel, Comrade Raúl Castro, and the Cuban people for their hospitality and the revolutionary strength they always transmit to us. Long live our America dignified, sovereign and with social justice!” he said in another tweet, which he illustrated with a photo of his meeting with the leader of the Cuban Revolution.

Arce left on Friday night for Cuba in compliance with an official invitation from the Cuban president, according to his Twitter account.
