During the 11th FMC Congress in Block 139 in the Roberto Rivas Fraga Popular Council in Ciego de Avila, Amarelle, who also serves as member of the Council of State, learned about prevention work and social attention to dysfunctional families, teenage pregnancy, and the linking of youngsters to study and work.

Meanwhile, Marisol Perez, also member of FMC, had been taken on a tour across communities of Majagua municipality, in which she met and discussed with local women about gender equality, non-violence and solidarity with families hard-hit by heavy rains in the east and center of the country.
