According to the closing report of June 29 at midnight, 16 patients were discharged, so the number of recovered people rose to 1,106,184. Since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020, 1,114,846 Cubans have suffered from the disease.
The report stated that the death toll remains at 8,530 and 73 people are currently positive cases in Cuba.
Minsap added that 90.8 percent of the Cuban population is fully vaccinated, while 8,758,876 citizens have been administered booster doses of Cuba’s homegrown vaccines.
