Communist parties of Cuba and Brazil to deepen relations (+Photo)

Brasilia, Jun 30 (Prensa Latina) The communist parties of Cuba and Brazil exchanged today opinions on mutual interests so as to deepen relations, in the middle of the 26th edition of the Sao Paulo Forum, which is ongoing until next Sunday.

” I had a very pleasant meeting with Luciana Santos, president of the Communist Party of Brazil”, the head of the Department of International Relations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Emilio Lozada, wrote on Twitter, and added: “We exchanged on mutual interest of deepening inter-party relations”.

He also tweeted that he was grateful for the Brazilian political organization’s permanent denunciation of the blockade against Cuba imposed by the United States more than six decades ago.

Lozada criticized the US siege that “constitutes the main obstacle to our development”during his speech at the meeting of the mechanism of coordination of progressive forces of Latin America and the Caribbean, .

He referred to the 243 measures imposed by the government of former US President Donald Trump (2017-2021) to economically stifle Cuba and that the administration of Democrat Joe Biden keeps each one intact.
