“Evidence of the involvement of mercenaries from Georgia, the United States, Latvia, Sweden and other countries was collected as a result of interaction with the Russian Defense Ministry and other operational services. 160 foreigners from 33 countries are currently being prosecuted,” the report stressed.

A press conference was held to announce the investigations after the operational meeting held in Donetsk with the head of the department, Alexander Bastrikin.
