Dudier Prophète, of the Quartier-Morin Magistrate’s Court, was among those affected by the Judiciary’s measure, having his certification withdrawn for alleged lack of moral integrity for requesting monetary amounts from litigants.
Judge Luc Kerlin Charles, of the Saut-d’Eau court, is accused of falsifying high school diplomas, while the former dean of the Croix des Bouquets Court of First Instance, Lionel Ralphe Dimanche, is accused of involvement in proven cases of embezzlement, as is his colleague Bruno Leriche.
On January the Judiciary removed 30 judges from the system for lack of moral integrity or academic inadequacy, and a month later banned them from occupying their posts or exercising functions within the judiciary.
