Agents from the Anti-Narcotics Division (DAN) arrested two motorcyclists who masked the illegal drug trade using the so-called “delivery” service on motorcycles to deliver marijuana, according to a PNC report.
When they were arrested, they were carrying a package containing 12.5 pounds of marijuana, with a market value of six thousand dollars, to their clients.
The arrested men, Samuel Isaac Gómez Hernández and Nathanahel Edgardo Velis Arbaiza, belong to existing gang groups in the country, according to the authorities.
The Minister of Justice and Security, Gustavo Villatoro, disclosed the information of these arrests. As we have been analyzing, the criminals involved in drug trafficking use “delivery” to operate,” he wrote on social networks.
In addition to the drugs that were transported in containers, similar to those used by home delivery workers, two motorcycles were seized from these criminals.
