According to a presidential statement issued here, the planned working visit is at the invitation of the current SACU President, King Mswati III.
Ramaphosa’s delegation will include Minister of Trade, Industry and Competitiveness, Ebrahim Patel; Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development, Thoko Didiza; Minister of Finance, Enoch Godongwana; and Commissioner of the South African Revenue Service, Edward Kieswetter.
The SACU Strategic Plan 2022-2027, which will be in its first year of review since it was adopted at the seventh SACU Summit, the document details, focuses on six pillars, including Industrialization, Export and Investment Promotion, Trade Facilitation and Logistics.
