The Defense Ministry said in a statement that these actions were conducted in response to attacks carried out by terrorists on communities in the provinces of Hama and Latakia, where they killed several civilians and caused extensive material damage.

On the other hand, the deployment of elite army units along the front line with the areas occupied by radicals in Aleppo and Idlib provinces was reported.

In recent months, the extremists have increased their actions from Idlib against residential areas under the government’s control, and have launched four drone attacks that killed four civilians.
