Last May, the Ukrainian Government asked Germany to supply Taurus winged missiles with a range of 500 kilometers.

Ten years ago, Germany bought 600 Taurus rockets, some 160 of which remain functional, the Frankfurter Allegemeine Sonnatagszeitung newspaper reported.

The said missile is considered the analogue of the US Shadow Storm rocket, often used by Ukrainian forces to attack Russian troops’ positions and Russian cities near the border between the two states.
