The DPRK assured that as long as the hostile policies of its enemies are not eliminated from the roots, the country will intensify its efforts to strengthen its defense system under the right of any sovereign state.
KCNA, the state-run news agency, on Monday released an extensive summary of a study by the DPRK Foreign Ministry’s Institute of American Affairs, which explains Washington’s provocations and aggression before and after the outbreak of the war on June 25, 1950.
During the three years of the war, the United States mobilized one-third of its ground forces, one-fifth of its air forces and most of the naval units of the Pacific Fleet, and spent more than 20 billion dollars in military expenditures.
The aggressors’ troops, including those from South Korea, Japan and a dozen satellite countries, exceeded two million soldiers, the news agency reported.
