Vietnamese Prime Minister travels to China for official visit

Hanoi, Jun 25 (Prensa Latina) Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh traveled to China accompanied by a high-level delegation for an official visit, the first high figure of his rank in the last seven years.

During his stay, which will run from June 25-28, Minh Chinh will also attend the 14th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum’s New Champions, to be held in the city of Tianjin.

Also traveling with the Vietnamese head of government are Ministers of National Defense General Phan Van Giang, of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, and of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien.

This visit will provide an opportunity for senior leaders of the two countries to exchange measures forwarded to promote multi-faceted cooperation in common interests and contribute to deepening the comprehensive bi-national strategic partnership, Vietnamese Ambassador to Beijing Pham Sao Mai said.

Besides, the diplomat added in statements to the VNA news agency, that it represents the continuity of regular exchanges and contacts between the top leaders of the two Communist Parties and States.
