According to the statement from the Defense Ministry, many members of Wagner have already realized the deception of the group’s founder, Evgeni Prigozhin, and have sought help to return safely to the places of permanent deployment.

The Defense Ministry stressed that all the fighters and commanders who requested help have already received it.

“Please show discretion and contact representatives of the Russian Defense Ministry or law enforcement as soon as possible. We guarantee everyone’s safety,” the statement said.
